Pricing questions

What counts as an active trade account?

A customer account that logs in or places an order during the quarter. Accounts that don’t use TierCommerce in the quarter aren’t counted, however many you have set up.

Why do you count active accounts by the quarter?

Because trade buying isn’t even month to month. Counting over a quarter smooths out end-of-month rushes, seasonal peaks and quiet weeks, so your price stays steady for three months at a time and you can budget for it. One busy month never surprises you with a bigger bill.

What if our number of active accounts changes?

Your price follows it, a quarter at a time. We count your active accounts each quarter and set your monthly price from that, so you pay for the accounts that actually use TierCommerce as you grow.

Does the amount we sell online change the price?

Only if you sell a lot online through a few accounts. Professional includes $5M a year in online orders and Essentials up to $3M. Above that, we price your plan on your online orders or your active accounts, whichever is higher, and your quote shows exactly what that comes to.

What counts as online orders?

Orders placed through TierCommerce, on your storefront or through AI Order Entry, excluding GST and after cancellations and credits. We add up the last 12 months each quarter, so one big order or a seasonal peak doesn’t move you on its own.

Do you charge per-order fees or commission?

No. There are no per-order fees and no commission. Your online orders only set which band your plan sits in, and each band is a fixed monthly price.

What happens if our online orders grow past what’s included?

We’ll tell you, and your price moves up from the next quarter. We never backdate it. If your online orders fall, your price comes back down the same way.

Can we pay a fixed annual price instead?

Yes. We can agree a fixed annual price, either from an estimate of your active accounts and online orders that we work out together or as a block, such as up to 500 active accounts and $10M a year in online orders. Your price then stays the same all year, and we settle any difference at renewal.

Why is Enterprise quoted?

Enterprise covers heavier ERPs such as Pronto, Business Central and SAP Business One, several brands and custom modules, which vary too much for a list price. You’ll get a price range in your first call.

Do prices include GST?

No. Prices are in Australian dollars, excluding GST.

Is there a set-up fee?

Every plan starts with our 30-day onboarding programme, which we quote with your plan.

Is PunchOut included?

No. PunchOut, for cXML, OCI and Unimarket catalogues, is an add-on on Professional and Enterprise, from $149 a month ex GST. That includes your first connected customer account, then it’s $69 for each extra account up to 10 and $39 each after that. Only accounts that used PunchOut that month count. It isn’t available on Essentials.
